Well-known journalist Serhiy Tyshchenko on the appointment of Serhiy Rebrov as head coach of the Ukrainian national team.
"I think that since Lobanovsky, the strongest Ukrainian coach of today has led the national team of Ukraine. This is a great achievement. I am only against Rebrov being made into a Messiah. His arrival will not immediately and dramatically change everything. Everything takes time and patience. The most important problem is that Rebrov was successful in club football. The national team institute is a slightly different job. Here you work with players 4-6 times a year. No physical training, no selection. Only tactics, psychology, the ability to combine the available players into one team come first. I hope that Rebrov's experience in the Ukrainian national team will be important here," Serhii wrote on Facebook.
