According to talkSPORT, the 32-year-old will reject any offers from the Gulf states. The Spanish goalkeeper's new two-year deal with MU has already been agreed and is awaiting approval from the club's board. Under the new contract, de Gea's salary will be reduced, given that he is currently one of the club's highest paid players with £375,000 per week.

Interestingly, Red Devils head coach Erik ten Heg has openly stated that de Gea will not remain the team's number one if he stays beyond the current campaign. The names of goalkeeper Bert Verbruggen from Anderlecht and Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund are also mentioned as possible transfers for MU.
