Igor Plastun becomes Bulgarian champion with Ludogorets

Igor Plastun, the Ukrainian defender of Ludogorets, has become the champion of Bulgaria at the end of season 2022/23.

Yesterday, in the final round of the Bulgarian championship Ludogorets beat Chorno More (2-0) away, which allowed the Ukrainian team to retain top spot in the standings. Ludogorets's closest pursuer, CSKA, is only one point behind the new champion.

It should be noted that Plastun played the entire 90 minutes of the game. The 32-year-old defender took part in 40 matches of Ludogorets in all competitions, appearing 34 times in the starting line-up. The Ukrainian has one goal under his belt.

It should be added that this championship is the 11th in the history of Ludogorets. It is the third in the country. Only Levski (26 titles) and CSKA (31) have won more championships than Ludogorets.
