Kyiv Dynamo forward Vladyslav Vanat told in an interview to VZBRRNA telegram channel about his emotions after the debut call up to the current national team of Ukraine.
- Was it a surprise for you to be called up to the national team?
- Not a big surprise, because I worked for it, I dreamed of coming here. And, well, dreams are coming true. It`s very nice to be here and to see all the guys.
- So you expected it to be?
- I waited, that's what I've been working for all this time.
- The next period might be pretty busy for you: the national team, the youth...
- God willing, to make it work, to get to these three important games, and to go as far as possible in the youth Euro.
- Do you have the highest ambitions?
- Yes, of course.
- In a moment you went from being a youth team player to becoming a national team player. Admit it, is there a bit of excitement?
- I was nervous when I found out for the first time, for about 5 minutes, and now I`ve accepted it and everything is great.
- Serhii Rebrov is a legend of Ukrainian football, of Kyiv Dynamo. At one time he was the head of that club, were you in the Dynamo system then?
- I was then at the Academy. This is a very good coach. I am glad that he has come to our national team, and I am sure he will take it to a higher level.
- Have you already had a chance to talk to the coach?
- Well, we said hello, he asked if I had learned how to talk to the referees. I said: "Yes."
- It's better not to talk to the judges...
- Yes, it's better not to talk.
