French Bordeaux's Ukrainian midfielder Daniil Ignatenko could leave his club during the summer transfer window.
According to reputable French edition L'Equipe, 26-year-old footballer is interested in several Belgian clubs.
It should be noted that Ignatenko could leave Bordeaux for free if the club do not qualify for Ligue 1. The latter is very likely to happen.
The season in France is now over, but the fate of one of the last round matches in Ligue 2 between Bordeaux and Rhodes has not yet been decided. This encounter was halted at 0-1 due to a home team fan running onto the pitch and hitting a player of the opposing team.
If Bordeaux are handed a technical defeat, the club will remain in Ligue 2. If, however, the teams finish the match and Bordeaux manage to win with a difference of four goals or more, it will take Ignatenko's club to the final second place in the Ligue 2 standings, and with it to Ligue 1.
It should be added that Ignatenko played 36 games for Bordeaux in all competitions in the 2022/23 season, scoring two goals and one assist.
