Markevych is not the favourite for the Veres coach's chair

According to TaToTake, Veres president Ivan Nadein held two introductory meetings with the head coaching candidates Ostap Markevych and Serhiy Lavrynenko.

As of now, the latter is considered the favourite. Accordingly, Markevych Jr. is expected to join his father's staff at Karpaty.

It is also worth noting that Nadein's final decision will depend on two factors - the result of the head-to-head matches against Metalurh and the final conversation with the club's current coach Yuriy Virt.
