The match started with a cold shower for the Ukraine national team. As early as on 2 minutes Mudryk in a harmless situation in his half of the field played clearly to Vullkrug, who easily hit the gate Trubin from 12 meters, but "forgave" the Ukrainian national team - after his strike the ball flew just inches from the bar. But after four minutes, the Germans opened the scoring: Wolf was allowed to take a pass in the penalty area, "blue-yellow", he struck a blow, and after the rebound from the leg Zabarny the ball flew into the goal - 1:0.

Later Germany team owned a full advantage, but at the 18 th minute Ukrainians managed to implement one of their counterattacks: Tymchyk, receiving a pass from Zabarny, a pass on the move led Tsygankov one on one with Trapp on the right flank, and he cold-bloodedly hit the ball into the far corner of the goal - 1:1.

Moreover, on 23 minutes, the Ukrainian national team took the lead. Yarmolenko intervened in the half of the field of Germany, succeeded, threw in a break on the right flank Tymchyk, who from the front line made a shot into the penalty area, where Tsygankov cleverly missed the transfer to Mudryk, who seemed not very well closed this combination, but the ball after the rebound from Rüdiger flew into the German national team - 1:2.

A second conceded goal put the German side on edge. Germany upped the pace and degree of aggression, and on 30 minutes managed to hit Goretzka from 20 meters, after which the ball just missed the crossbar of the goal for Ukraine.

Up until the end of the first half the German national team had an absolute advantage, but the Ukrainians acted reliably in defense, and did not allow the opponent to create a single goal chance. Only in stoppage time of the first half the Germans were close to success - it was Sane, performing a free kick, sent the ball into the crossbar of the goal Trubin.

The second half also saw distinct advantage of Germany, but the Ukrainian national team managed to develop their success. At 56 minutes, Ginter is mistaken, taking a pass in his penalty area, and it seized on the situation Dovbik: he intercepted the ball, gave a pass to a free Tsygankov, and he hit virtually empty net - 1:3.

A third missed goal seemed to have disheartened the Germans, but they continued to have an advantage. However, the Ukrainian team looked very confident in this part of the match. Not only in terms of defense, but also in terms of counterplay. As a result, the German national team for a long period of the game had only one chance to succeed - a strike by Rüdiger from 10 meters, after which the ball flew half a meter from the goal post of the Ukrainian team. At the same time, the Ukrainians could have scored - Zubkov, after a soft cutting pass from Mudryk went almost one-on-one with Trapp, shot into the near corner from close range, but the German goalkeeper managed to save his team.

But at the end of the match the hosts managed to reverse the situation. At the 83rd minute of the game Rüdiger from his half of the field delivered the ball to Haverets, who easily won the fight with a passive struggling Matvienko in the penalty area of the Ukrainian team, and easily hit the goal - 2:3. And at the 90th minute of the match Sobol fouled on the same Havertsev in the penalty area of the Ukrainian national team, and the referee did not hesitate to call a "point". Kimmich converted the spot-kick, directing the ball under the crossbar, making it 3-3.

Let us add that the Ukraine national football team will play its next match this Friday, June 16, when it plays against the national team of Northern Macedonia within the next round of the Euro 2024 qualifying round in Skopje (kick-off time is 21:45 Kyiv time).
