Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Kovalenko, who played on loan at La Spezia, returns to the club with which he is contractually linked, Atalanta.
"La Spezia rented the 27-year-old Ukrainian before the start of the 2022/23 season for one year with an obligation to buy him out if he stays in Serie A, but as previously reported, the team dropped out of Serie B.
Kovalenko will now return to Atalanta, but Calcio Atalanta reports that the club do not count on the Ukrainian international. It seems the player will again go on loan.
It should be added that Kovalenko is linked with Atalanta on a contract until the summer of 2025.
