Qatari Sheikh Jassim is likely to become the new owner of Manchester United, the Daily Telegraph reports, citing the Qatari newspaper Al-Watan.
According to the source, Sheikh Jassim will start the so-called "exclusive period" within a week, which means he will agree on the final details of the deal. Unlike other bidders, Sheikh Jassim has clearly defined his plan for the club and made the most favourable offer, which reaches around €5 billion.
The Qatari investor plans to fully buy out the club, pay off all debts, reconstruct Old Trafford and the training base in Carrington.
Earlier it was reported that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi had a conversation with the current owners of MU, the Glazer brothers, about the possible sale of the club to Sheikh Jassim. After this conversation, the American businessmen agreed to sell the club to Qatari investors.
