Valenti Guardiola, the father of Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola, spoke about his methods of raising his son.

- When I was 14, I worked 10 hours a day on a construction site and cycled 12 kilometres. My children, including Pep, grew up accustomed to work, just like me - to work, work and work again. He inherited this from his father.
