Roma head coach Jose Mourinho met with the club's president from Saudi Arabia, Sky Sport reports.
"Al Ahly has prepared a favourable offer for the 60-year-old specialist. On Thursday, the club's president Walid Muath arrived in London, where he personally met with the Portuguese coach. During the conversation, Mourinho made it clear that he intends to continue working in the Italian capital.
It will be recalled that Jose's current contract with Roma runs until the summer of 2024.
