Bohdan Viunnyk: "Rotan makes us believe that we are no worse than the Italians, French, and Spanish"

Ukraine's youth national team striker Bohdan Viunnyk talks about the team's preparations for the European Youth Championship.

- It was an important training camp. The last time we saw each other was in March, but not with the whole squad. The last such training camp was during the play-offs with the Slovaks, so we forgot a lot of things from, as we say, the "potanstyle". Now we have been working on our secret schemes every day. I believe that after the sparring with the Irish we are already prepared. It was not a very good result (2:2), but we will draw conclusions and be ready for the first official match with the Croatian national team.

Every day, Rotan tells us that we are no worse than the Italians, French, and Spaniards. We drew 3-3 with France. People at the age of 21 have already won the Champions League. I believe that our national team is now the most motivated. The whole world knows about Ukraine, what happens here every day. Our motivation is our nation, our people, for whom we will fight on the football field. We want to show everyone that Ukraine is truly a superpower. We will fight for every metre on the football field," said Bogdan.
