Johnsen was shown a yellow card which put the Faroe Islands under heavy pressure. Albania quickly seized on the opportunity and retook the lead, K. Asllani scoring in the 51st minute. The Faroe Islands made two more substitutions in the 65th minute, releasing P. Knudsen and A. Johansen in place of R. Johnsen and J. Edmundsson respectively. Albania also made their first substitution in the 68th minute: S. Chikallesi was replaced by M. Uzuni. J. Asani and N. Bayrami also left the pitch in the 75th minute when Albania made two more substitutions with A. Mehmeti and E. Muchi. The Faroe Islands made two more substitutions in the 81st minute as S. Vatnhamar and G. Vatnhamar came on for S. Radosavlevic and B. Hendricksson respectively. Albania also made two more substitutions in the 89th minute: T. Seferi and K. Aslani replaced A. Sadika and K. Bare respectively. But it was Albania who had the final say in the match, scoring E. Muchi in added time to ensure a 3-1 win over the Faroe Islands. This victory was a hard-fought one for Albania, showing resilience and determination to come out on top. In conclusion, both teams gave it their all in this thrilling European Championship qualifying match, with Albania claiming victory. It was a really exciting match, and the quality of football shown by both teams was nothing short of spectacular.
