Shakhtar Donetsk forward Dmytro Bilonog has spoken about his time at Dynamo Kyiv in the summer of 2018.
"After Zirka's relegation from the UPL, which I played for at the time, I was invited to a preview at Dynamo. The team then had a seven to ten day first training camp in Kiev. I think I spent that time very much.
We had a friendly with Kolos at the end of training camp. I played well. I expected that after the match I would be offered a contract, or at least taken to a training camp in Austria with the team.
It turned out that Dynamo head coach Oleksandr Khatskevych had other interests. Many wrote that he was not very fond of the players offered by the then sports director of the club, Yevhen Krasnikov. The guys on the team were shocked when they didn't keep me. Even now I can talk to Vitya Tsygankov or Kolya Shaparenko sometimes.
I talked to Khatkevich only when he told me after the game with "Kolos" that he was not interested in my services. I didn`t say anything to him. It was the most unexpected decision for me. I was in a stupor for a couple of days", - Ukrainian Football quotes Bilonog.
