Italian coach Francesco Farioli, who was previously described as almost accomplished as Shakhtar's new head coach, will not come to Ukraine according to journalist Igor Burbas.

"Francesco Farioli will not be at Shakhtar. Negotiations have been suspended following the Italian's family's final refusal to go to Ukraine. Although, once again, I emphasize that the terms of the contract have been agreed by the parties. Therefore, we wait for the finalization of the story with Patrick van Leeuwen. He will not be intimidated by war," Burbas wrote on Telegram.
