Midfielder of the youth national team of Ukraine Oleksandr Nazarenko shared his expectations from the Euro 2023 (U-21) match against Romania, which will take place today in Bucharest at the Stiaua Stadium (starting at 19.00 Kyiv time).
"It's a beautiful stadium, comfortable, but a bit parky. However, it's okay, the conditions are the same for both teams. At 7 o'clock, the pitch is already a bit in the shade, so I think everything will be fine.
The mood of the team is great, everyone is preparing, they understand how important this game is for us. The match with Croatia added to our emotions, so we are approaching the second match on a positive note.
Romania is a fighting team. All of its players will give their best because the whole stadium will be cheering for them, it will be their 12th player. You can't single out any of the opposition players - they are all good. It's going to be a tough game," said Nazarenko.
