"Very hard and frustrating" - Romanian youth team head coach on defeat to Ukraine at Euro 2023 (U-21)

Emil Sendoy, head coach of the Romania national youth team, on the defeat to Ukraine (0-1) in yesterday's match of the 2nd round of the group stage of Euro 2023 (U-21).

"We managed to hold on for most of the match, so to concede a goal in the final minutes is very hard and frustrating. I felt sorry for the players of our team when I saw their disappointment after the final whistle. They really believed in their chances in this match," UEFA quoted Sendoy as saying.
