The German Football Association is dissatisfied with the recent performances of the team under Hans-Dieter Flick. In the last four meetings, the national team has not won a single game. The 58-year-old specialist has been criticised for his experimental line-ups and the lack of a stable starting eleven.

The September matches against Japan and France will be decisive in the fate of Flick at the helm of the German national team. In the event of unsuccessful results, Julian Nagelsmann, Oliver Glasner and Stefan Kunz may replace him.
