Midfielder Serhii Buletsa, who played on loan for Zorya Luhansk in the 2022/23 season, has returned to Dynamo and started preparing for the new season with the White and Blues. After the first training session with the team on 26 June, Serhii spoke about his performances for Zorya and his expectations for the training camp and the new season.
Sergey Buletsa- Congratulations on your return to Dynamo. How did you get to work and what are your expectations for the upcoming training camp?
- Thank you. I've just arrived, I'm very happy to be back with the team, the guys have received me well. Today is the first day after the holiday, the first workload, we have started working, we are working. I think we will add to it every day.
- The team is familiar to you, how did the guys react to your arrival?
- Everything is calm, the partners just congratulated me on my return. I'm in the process of settling in.
- In what physical condition did you come back from your holiday? Were the first training sessions easy or hard?
- It's always difficult to get back into a work schedule. During the holiday, I worked individually: I went to the gym, ran, but when you train alone and with the team, it's different.
- Last season you spent on loan at Zorya Luhansk and took part in almost all the matches as a main player. Tell us, what did this period give you professionally?
- First of all, I want to say that it was a very good season, because our team had a very high level. This is the merit of the coach, the team, and the team as a whole. Even the little things make a big difference on the football pitch.
- Do Zorya and Dynamo have different requirements for you?
- I am sure I will feel it in the course of my work. I know that Dynamo always has the highest standards.
- Do you already know what position you will play for Mircea Lucescu?
- I am more of an attacking player. But wherever the coach puts me, I am ready to play and listen to his instructions.
- Have you already had a conversation with the head coach or acting coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi?
- I haven't had it yet, I think it's still to come.
- The training camp in Austria will start soon, and three opponents are already known. The more sparring matches, the better?
- Of course, because in a game you develop and gain physical fitness better than in the training process.
- Have you been to Austria before?
- I don't think so, so I'm looking forward to going there for the first time.
- What are your personal goals for the new season?
- Of course, I want to get a foothold at Dynamo and play regularly for the team. I am a graduate of the Dynamo Academy, so I would really like to play in the first team.
