Former Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Svyatoslav Syrota has spoken about the current realities of Ukrainian football.
"Football. I accidentally read an interview. I won't say who and, in general, it's not very important. But again, I felt that I was right when I said "goodbye" to today's football.
I hear about the footballers' shop again and again.
For a very long time now, the general trend has been not to educate players, but to buy those who simply change teams. Only a few teams look for talents with character and then nurture them like a precious flower.
Back in the day, when Luzhny joined Dynamo, he was not a top player. He had a lot of health, strength and desire. And Lobanovskyi believed in him. And Oleg himself added to his performance skills in a short time. Thank God, everything else was fine with him.
Nowadays, 90% of current coaches would probably not take a player like Luzhnyi was before he joined Dynamo. You have to see him, you have to bring him up, you have to believe in him.
The coaches have been shredded. They have shredded. But not all of them. And thank you for that.
P.S. And then everyone wonders where the match-fixing comes from? Of course, my words will be unpleasant for the players from the "store" and the buyer coaches. Although, the diploma of the coaches says "coach-teacher". Probably, we should propose to the NUFS to introduce a new specialisation "coach-buyer".
In any case, I wish you all the best and happiness. And let's all win!" wrote Sirota on his Facebook page.
