Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta reacted to the transfer of striker Kai Havertz.
"Kai is a player of the highest level. He is a great all-rounder and an intelligent footballer. He will add great strength to our midfield and diversify our play.
We welcome Kai and his family to Arsenal Football Club and we are all looking forward to working with him as we begin our pre-season training," Arteta was quoted as saying by the Londoners' press service.
