Andriy Shevchenko: "The most important thing is for Ukraine to win"

Former Dynamo and Ukraine national football team forward Andriy Shevchenko has spoken about his expectations from the charity match in support of our country to be held in London in August.

Andriy Shevchenko

- We have announced that the match will feature some legendary players. For example, Cech, Kudicini, Zola, Hasselbaink, Cole. My AC Milan partners Cannavaro, Serginho, Panucci will also be involved. In addition, there will be famous Arsenal players - Vieira, Pires, Lehmann, coach Wenger.

It is important for us, for Ukraine. All these athletes are in solidarity with us. We want to raise money to rebuild the school in Chernihiv. Of course, I will also play in this match. It's a game for a good cause.

Who will win? I think the most important thing is for Ukraine to win. To raise money for the school, to get the message across. I am confident that both countries - Ukraine and Great Britain - will win here," Shevchenko told TalkSport.
