Mircea Lucescu, the head coach of Dynamo Kiev, spoke about his health condition and plans for the future. Recall that in early May, the 77-year-old specialist underwent surgery on his hip for coxarthrosis.
"I am ready to work. I did not have enough time to recover from surgery, just a month or so. Then I had to walk as much as possible. And now I have to move all the time.
I have a contract with Dynamo until May 31, and I will definitely finish it until the end, if my health allows.
What then? We'll see, it depends on my health again. We'll see how my body reacts to my return to active work after the surgery.
Everyone knows very well what competition means. But now I am no longer in a situation where I can make plans for the next five years. Now I am just enjoying life and my work from day to day, from month to month", Mircea Lucescu told reporters at Bucharest airport before leaving for the Dinamo camp at the training camp that starts today in Austria.
