Larnaca-based AEK Cyprus has announced the signing of Dynamo Kyiv striker Fran Sol. The term of the agreement is two years with a possibility of extension for another year.
It is a full-fledged transfer of the 31-year-old footballer. This means that the parties managed to achieve an early termination of Sol's contract with Dynamo, which lasted until the next summer.
It should be recalled that Sol moved to Dynamo from Dutch side Willem II in 2019 for €3.5m. The striker failed to establish himself in the main squad of the Bilo-Syni. Sol spent the last season on loan at Spanish Malaga (32 games, 1 goal, 3 assists).
