Patrick van Leeuwen wants Rusyn to join Shakhtar

Former Dynamo forward Nazariy Rusyn, who currently plays for Zorya, is interested in Shakhtar's new head coach Patrick van Leeuwen. This is reported by TaToTake.

"Rusyn is not joining Shakhtar. At least for now... Although rumours that Patrick van Leeuwen would like to see Nazariy at his new club have been circulating in football circles for more than a day. And they intensified after it became known that the player was absent from the club's first training sessions in Poland.

However, today Nazariy is expected to join the team. His contract with Zorya runs until July 2025. According to Transfermarkt, Rusyn's transfer value is €2 million," the statement reads.
