The UAF Control and Disciplinary Committee at its today's meeting handed down its verdict following the case of a brawl at the end of the 29th matchday of the Ukrainian championship last season between Shakhtar and Dnipro 1.
According to the verdict, three Shakhtar players have been handed a four-match suspension - Yaroslav Rakitskiy, Viktor Kornienko and Anatoliy Trubin. True, the latter will miss only two games: he has two more suspensions. In addition, Yegor Nazarina will miss three games.
The list of penalties for Dnipro 1 looks equally impressive. Ronald Matarrita, Joao Peglov, Vitaliy Fedoriv and Olexiy Gutsulyak received 4 match disqualifications. Besides, Dnipro 1 has been fined 500 thousand hryvnias.
It should be added that each of the above players have already missed one match - in the 30th round of the Ukrainian championship season 2022/23.
