The 29th match of the Ukrainian championship between Shakhtar and Dnipro-1 ended in a huge scandal.
Already in the equalised time in the second half, Shakhtar midfielder Nazarina went for a hard tackle against Dnipro 1 player Peglou. The Brazilian, having fallen first, then jumped to his feet and pounced on his opponent.
Then representatives of both teams ran onto the pitch, after which a scuffle broke out. In particular, Rakitskiy got a cut on his eyebrow after a Dnipro-1 player took a blow. Also, the episode with Kornienko and Gomes' brawl deserves special attention.
As a result, the brawl lasted for a few minutes, after which the main referee Kateryna Monzul issued four red cards (two to Shakhtar and two to Dnipro-1).
