"It's true that we discussed a very ambitious contract that we could only partially implement due to the conditions of the transfer window and the regulatory restrictions in France and Europe. The conditions were completely out of our control, but despite this, we have tried to meet your demands, unlike what we would have done for any other player," the letter reads.
