Former Shakhtar goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov has joined Patrick van Leeuwen's coaching staff.
According totheclub's sources, Pyatov had offers from a UPL club, but decided to end his playing career and focus on working at Shakhtar's coaching staff.
"Pyatov, together with Dennis Gentenar, will train the goalkeepers. Yesterday, Andriy already worked with the team as an assistant in Patrick van Leeuwen's coaching staff," the source said.
It will be recalled that Pyatov does not yet have a coaching licence, he is just starting his training. The goalkeeper has been with Shakhtar since 2007 and has played a total of 482 matches for the team.
