Anderlecht's left-back Bohdan Mykhailychenko will hold the team's training camp in Austria together with the main team, according to the official website of the Brussels club.
The Ukrainian`s name is on the list of players who were taken by Anderlecht`s head coach Brian Rimmer for the first training camp.
It was previously reported that Rimmer decided to send Mykhailychenko to train with the reserve team, however, according to La Dernière Heure, in the end Anderlecht`s head coach changed his mind and decided to give the Ukrainian player a chance to prove himself at the training camp in Austria.
Riemer wants Mykhailychenko to compete on the left flank of the defense of 21-year-old Moussa NʼDiaye, or at least to show the real ability to substitute the Senegalese.
In case Mykhailychenko's abilities will not satisfy Rimmer, upon his return from Austria, Anderlecht will return to the initial decision on the Ukrainian - sending him to the double and looking for a transfer opportunity.
It should be recalled that Bohdan Mykhailychenko played on loan for Shakhtar in the 2022/23 season, but the Donetsk club did not make use of the option to buy the full-back.
