The information that Andriy Shevchenko, the former head coach of Ukraine, received an offer to lead the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina turned out to be untrue.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Federation said in response to an enquiry by Radio Sarajevo that the 46-year-old was not even considered a candidate for the position of the Bosnian national team coach and therefore no negotiations were held with him in this regard.
The source adds that domestic coach Vahid Halilhodzic is likely to lead the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
