Former Dynamo Kyiv forward and now a well-known football expert, Viktor Leonenko commented on the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea head coach.
"I read that Pochettino will personally work with Mudrick. I have always welcomed that and will always welcome it. It's just that some coaches don't work like that. I went through that with Gazzayev. I lived at the base in Moscow, I didn't like the city at all - loud, traffic. Gazzayev and I analysed trainings and games. I absorbed everything.
If things don't work out with Pochettino, then Mudryk will have to finish. Most likely, he will be removed from Chelsea. It's not clear where to. Probably on loan. If so, there will be offence, because he is already a star. I believe that Mudryk has a serious chance to become a footballer thanks to his work with Pochettino," Leonenko said in the podcast of his Telegram channel.
