Vitaliy Mykolenko: "After the start of a full-scale war, I started to appreciate playing in England more"

Everton defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, who used to play for Dynamo Kyiv, told us how his attitude to football has changed since the start of the full-scale war.

"How was the year and a half in England? It was difficult. A new team, new everything. You could say a new adult life. Then the war broke out. It became even harder. But probably because the war started, I started to appreciate every moment, every minute that I was playing in England, that I could play football in a packed stadium. Perhaps I reassessed my thoughts about football more. I realised that it's not that hard," Mykolenko said in an interview with Sport Arena TV.
