Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson may move to Saudi Arabia, the Daily Mail reports.
According to a source, the English midfielder is ready to seriously consider an offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittifaq. This team has recently been led by Steven Gerrard, with whom Henderson managed to play at Liverpool. The 33-year-old midfielder understands that Liverpool will be renewing their midfield this year, so he will not have a stable playing practice.
The option with Al-Ittifaq is attractive because the Saudis are willing to pay the player one and a half times more than he receives in Liverpool. In the next few days, Jordan Henderson will make a final decision on this offer. Henderson's current deal with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2025.
