Ukrainian midfielder Vladyslav Kochergin summarised the results of his team's first match against Estonian Flora (1-0) in the first qualifying round of the Champions League in an interview with Gol24.pl, in which he scored the only goal.
- What does a goal in the Champions League taste like?
- In qualification it tastes the same as any other goal. Only in the Champions League itself, I think, goals have a special flavour. And our goal is to reach the group stage of this tournament. And I hope that we will achieve it.
- How do you assess the meeting with Flora?
- It was a tough match. We played well. Of course, we wanted to win with a more confident score, but what to do, we have to settle for a minimal advantage.
In the first half "Flora" mainly defended and lost a lot of energy. That's why after the break it became easier for us. And in the end it resulted in a goal.
- What do you expect from the return match in Tallinn?
- We will have another tough encounter. There is always something to improve in our game, and I believe that we can do better in the return match.
