Minaj's head coach Volodymyr Sharan talks about the past season.
- "You know, it's nice to write history, but I won't hide it: last season was the most difficult in my long coaching career. I had to create a virtually new team, and in such cases, the puzzles do not always fit together as they should. But gradually, brick by brick, we built a team game, then stability appeared, which had a positive impact on the result.
If I'm not mistaken, Minaj was in the relegation zone only once during the marathon tournament. However, we managed to quickly push off the bottom of the table. What helped you? I believe that the entire coaching staff worked productively, the team had a great microclimate, we were generally one of the best in the UPL in terms of attitude. There was order, each player clearly followed the coach's instructions, knew his manoeuvre, this is exactly the case when the organisation during the match was excellent.
But at first glance, everything was simple, we had to find an approach to each player so that his strengths would bring maximum benefit to the team. That's why we were, above all, a strong team. I should also pay tribute to the club management, they did not promise us mountains of gold, but we received everything we earned on time. Although I will not hide it - the club's budget was one of the most modest in the UPL," Sharan said.
