Catalan side Barcelona are moving further away from a possible transfer of Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva, Football Espana reports.
According to the source, the Blaugrana need to earn money in order to sign Bernardo Silva. Firstly, the Portuguese's transfer value ranges from 80 million euros. Secondly, the Blaugrana will need to unload the club's payroll in order to register the player. Thus, the total transfer fee of €150m makes it almost impossible for Barcelona to complete the transfer, as they are unlikely to be able to sell players for a similar amount this summer. The Catalans will most likely have to consider alternative options.
