Veres president Ivan Nadein revealed that Ostap Markevych was a candidate for the post of head coach of the team, but the parties failed to agree on co-operation.
"Markevich was indeed a candidate. We met with him once. It was before the knockout matches. He prepared his plan for the club's development. He has quite progressive ideas and turned out to be a professional specialist.
Are we ready for these ideas today? I doubt it. Then we called and realised that he would be better off in Lviv, while it would be difficult for us to pull this plan," Nadein said in an interview with VERES TV.
