Veres Rivne will start the 2022-2023 Ukrainian Championship in Zhytomyr. The opening round match against local side Polissia will take place on 28 July and will start at 19:00.
It will be recalled that according to the calendar, the first-round match between Veres and Polissia was to take place in Rivne. However, the people's club made a concession to its rivals, for whom this match will be the first ever in the elite of Ukrainian football.
Thus, the second-round match of the Ukrainian championship between Polissia and Veres, scheduled for 2 December, will take place in Rivne.
