Arsenal bosses expected to spend less money on the transfer of West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, The Athletic reports.
According to the source, Arsenal paid €122 million for the transfer, but planned to spend €80 million. However, the club does not believe that they overpaid, as they believe that Declan Rice is the best player in his position.
It should be added that Declan Rice's contract with Arsenal runs until the summer of 2028.
