Guy became van Leeuwen's assistant at Shakhtar

Former Ukraine national team midfielder Oleksiy Gai, who worked at Chornomorets, has joined Shakhtar's coaching staff. This is reported by TaToTake.

According to the source, Shakhtar's new head coach Patrick van Leeuwen invited Gai to join his staff. The former Pitmen's player has already started his new duties at the team's training camp.

Last season, the specialist worked as an assistant and analyst in Roman Grigorchuk's staff at Chornomorets.

We shall remind you that Gai played for Shakhtar from 2000 to 2013.
