Dynamo Kyiv's training camp in the Austrian federal state of Carinthia continues. On Tuesday, 18 July, in the morning, Mircea Lucescu's team trained at the stadium near the hotel.
The night before, the White and Blues did not hold any training sessions due to the bad weather that raged in St. Veith. After a hot morning in the evening, there was a very heavy downpour with hail that covered the entire field, so it was decided to protect the pitch and the players' health.
On Tuesday, the work began with a warm-up session full of running exercises. After that, the goalkeepers moved under the leadership of Mikhail Mikhailov, and the field players worked in squares.
At first, it was two squares for two groups, where the players worked with great intensity, so the work was divided into time intervals between which the players could rest and catch their breath. Then the team improved their ball skills and collective selection in one large square.
No less intense was the game for four improvised narrow goals, made up of training chips, in which two teams in different jerseys had to score goals against each other.
The team also practised tactical elements, with special attention paid to attacking combinations and finishing attacks.
In the final exercises, the goalkeepers also had a lot of work to do. Finally, the field players practiced shots on goal, and again the goalkeepers had to work hard and demonstrate their reaction.
In the evening, the weather was raging again in St. Veith. The team had just managed to warm up when, just like the day before, a heavy downpour began, which did not subside all evening, making it impossible to work with the ball.
It will be recalled that on Wednesday, Dynamo will play a friendly match against Al Ghilal in St Faith.
