Legendary goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has left intensive care but is still in hospital. The Dutchman himself told us about it.
"We want to thank everyone for all the wonderful messages of support. I am happy to say that I am no longer in the intensive care unit. But I am still in the hospital. I hope to be able to return home next week and take the next step in my recovery!" van der Sar wrote on his Twitter page.
In early July, van der Sar was on holiday in Croatia. He suffered a brain haemorrhage and was taken to a hospital in Split.
