"Obviously, the coach wanted me to stay. He's been in touch with me a lot over the last few months. Even on holiday, he sent me messages. Also some of my teammates. Everyone showed me a lot of love.

After four years here, I'm one of the oldest in the team. In my career, five years at one club is a long time. Now I have a more diverse role, so the club wanted me to help the young players, to set an example, because we have a lot of young players," Rabiot was quoted as saying by Football Italia.

It will be recalled that in the summer, the Frenchman signed a new one-year deal with Juventus.
