D.C. United head coach Wayne Rooney commented on the situation with Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
"Last season I thought it was time for Kane to go, but he stayed. Harry probably feels it and knows that there are trophies he can win. He did everything he could to help Tottenham win a trophy. Now, probably, the right decision for him is to move on. He is ready for this step, but we know that it can be quite difficult for Tottenham.
For me, Kane would be the perfect acquisition for Manchester United. But it looks like Tottenham are holding Kane hostage. It will be difficult for him to get out of there," Rooney was quoted as saying by The Athletic.
