Former Volyn forward Vasyl Sachko told us how he got to Vitalii Kvartsianyi's team.

"Volodymyrovych noticed me when I was playing for Oskol Kupianske. He liked me for some reason and invited me to Volyn.

I remember our first conversation, which lasted 40 minutes. I said only "good afternoon" and "goodbye", the rest of the time Kvartsianyi was talking.

Volodymyr Volodymyrovych convinced me to join Volyn, it was an ambitious team that set high goals. In Lutsk, I developed as a footballer, always played in the base, became captain, scored a lot," Sachko said.
