Vorskla defender Igor Perduta spoke about Poltava's first opponent in the Conference League - Georgian Dila.
Igor Perduta- The matches of the previous stage between Dila and Slovakian DAK proved once again: predictions in football are unreliable. After all, most experts favoured the Slovakian team, but Dila decided otherwise.
- Vorskla players are now at the training camp in Poland, but, apparently, they found an opportunity to watch the TV broadcasts of these matches. What did "Dila" remember?
- Good ball control, fighting character. In the first away match the Georgians rallied and turned the tide of the game, which was going badly for them.
- Do you know goalkeeper Kucherenko and forward Kovtalyuk, who defend the colours of "Dila"?
- No, I only know that they are Ukrainians.
- And the fact that Dila is headed by Ukrainian specialist Andriy Demchenko can be useful for the Georgian team?
- I don`t think so. Everything will depend, first of all, on us, how we will adjust, whether we will show our best qualities. If we approach the confrontation with Dila in a fighting sports form, then no information about Vorskla, which is owned by Demchenko, will not bring dividends to Dila.
- Today "Vorskla" will have the last sparring at the training camp in Poland. How do you assess the current state of the Poltava team?
- As for me, the main thing is that the team's infirmary is empty. All the guys are motivated, they are eager to prove that the right conclusions have been made from the previous failures in European cups.
- In the last two appearances in Europe, Poltava team missed in the final minutes and were eliminated early.
- Last spring, we did not get a ticket to the Conference League with such difficulty to fall out after the first matches.
- On 27 July, "Vorskla" will host "Dila" at the stadium of the Polish city of Tychy, where a few weeks ago Poltava team met with the local team.
- The stadium is simply beautiful, it meets all the requirements of today. The fans, who warmly supported their team, were also memorable. I hope that the 12th player will help us a lot on 27 July.
