Mykola Kukharevych: "Rakuv? There is interest, but nothing has been signed yet"

Ukrainian forward Mykola Kukharevych, whose contract belongs to French side Troyes, commented on the information that he could end up in Polish side Raków.

Nikolay Kukharevich

- Mykola, you can start the next season in the Polish championship, in Raków, together with Vlad Kochergin. Is it true or false?

- There is interest, but nothing has been signed yet.

- Why Raków?

- This is the Polish champion, now qualifying for the Champions League, these are European competitions. We are still waiting, waiting.

- Is it important for you that Vlad Kochergin plays for Raków in Poland? Is there an atmosphere in Poland that would make a Ukrainian feel at home?

- Yes, Poland has such an atmosphere, a close mentality, everything. I don't think there should be any problems with adaptation. Plus, I'm a Ukrainian, which is a novelty for me. There were no Ukrainians or Russian speakers in other European teams. Ours in the team, of course, helps a lot. But I don't know yet whether it will work out.

- Undoubtedly, you have one eye on the team you are interested in. "Can Rakuv get into the Champions League group?

- We have already passed the first round of qualification, then Karabakh.

- You are under contract with the French side Troyes, but last season you spent in the Scottish side Hibernian. Is the issue between these two clubs and Rakiv being resolved?

- I won't talk about these details yet.
