English Aston Villa has officially announced the signing of French national team striker Moussa Diaby, the Birmingham club's press service reports.
According to the British media, Aston Villa paid €60 million for Diaby's transfer, of which €10 million may go to Bayer Leverkusen as bonuses. This makes Diaby's transfer the most expensive in Aston Villa's history.
Diaby, who had been courted by various top European clubs, became the third newcomer to Unai Emery's team this summer after defender Pau Torres and midfielder Juri Tielemans.
