Former Dynamo Kyiv forward Viktor Leonenko has told what he expects from Andriy Yarmolenko's return to his former club.
"Yarmolenko will endeavour to pass on experience to Dynamo players, but he will be able to do it only if he is the best in the team. Not in words, not based on the fact that he deserves something: he just has to be the best and he has to realise it himself. It's not expectations that should be linked to him, but he should be the best on the pitch. Not even average!
And whether he will help or not, we will see. We have to wait for him to become a leader. How much time will Lucescu give him? A half, a little more. Maybe two halves. But I am not sure. Although, I think, Yarmolenko will have opportunities for breaks due to Tymchyk's activity.
Basically, Yarmolenko will play beautifully and often communicate with the referees," Leonenko said in a podcast of his Telegram channel.
